Pneumatic shock wave therapy is commonly used in physical therapy and rehabilitation, particularly in the treatment of chronic tendinitis, muscle injuries and joint pain.
The working principle of pneumatic shock waves is based on converting pneumatic compression energy into shock wave energy, which acts on human tissue. Its main working steps are as follows:
1. **Pneumatic compression**: The device compresses the gas to a certain high pressure state through an air compressor to produce high-energy compressed air.
2. **Energy transfer**: Compressed air enters the shock wave transmitter through a pipeline, pushing the internal projectile (such as a bullet or piston) to hit the transmitter head at a very high speed.
3. **Shock wave generation**: The transmitter head generates an instantaneous mechanical shock wave through rapid impact, and the waveform has high-pressure and short-term characteristics.
4. **Wave transmission to the human body**: Through a coupling device or probe, the shock wave energy is transmitted to the skin surface and deep into the tissue, causing the local tissue to be subjected to high-energy mechanical stimulation.
5. **Biological effects**: When the shock wave propagates in the tissue, it can trigger a series of biological reactions, such as increasing blood circulation, promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation. This therapy is often used to treat musculoskeletal pain, promote soft tissue healing and improve blood circulation.
Take "shoulder treatment" as an example:
(1) Enter the body part selection page. Choose the "Shoulder" (Energy, frequency and preload shoots have been preset). We can also adjust the parameters based on the specific needs. Use the suitable treatment head based on the size of the treatment area.
(2) Apply the gel to the back
(3) Click on "Start" in the interface
(4) Push the treatment head against the back
(5) Press the "Start" button on the shockwave handle
(6) Move the handle slightly
(7) After the preload shocks finish, the handle will stop automatically
(8) After the treatment, clean the treatment heads, bullet and inner structure of the handle
Ultra Deep Vibration therapy causes mechanical vibrations, from high frequency sound waves, on skin and soft tissue via an aqueous solution (Gel). A gel is applied either to the applicator head or to the skin, which helps the sound waves to evenly penetrate the skin
The Ultra Deep Vibration applicator converts power from the device into acoustic power that can cause thermal or non-thermal effects. The sound waves creates microscopic stimulation in the deep tissue molecules that increases heat and friction. The warming effect encourages and promotes healing in the soft tissues by increasing the metabolism at the level of the tissue cells.
