Product Description

GOMECY  Shock Wave Therapeutic Focused Shock Wave Erectile Dysfunction Physiotherapy Machine Shockwave
Product Description

Electrotherapy is the use of electrical currents to produce therapeutic effects on the body. Electrotherapy has been used since the 1800's to treat various medical conditions. This method of treatment has been proven useful for pain management, muscle stimulation, reduction of swelling, and increased blood flow.

The most common form of electrotherapy is Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). Tiny impulses are sent through the skin to nerves via electrodes which alters your perception of pain. Pain is simply a message sent from an injured area of the body through the spinal cord up to the brain. TENS helps alleviate pain by interfering with these signals before they reach the brain and can be processed.  TENS can also stimulate the production of endorphins that yield an analgesic effect in the body.

Interferential Current Therapy (IFC/IFT) is another form of electrical stimulation commonly used by clinicians. IFC and TENS use the same mechanisms to relieve pain, however IFC is more effective in increasing circulation and reducing swelling. The IFC currents are set up in a crisscross pattern, when the currents meet up, the difference in hertz creates interference-hence the name interferential-which then creates a pulse deep within the muscle or joint.

Interferential Current is a medium frequency waveform. Current is distributed through of two channels (four electrodes). The currents cross each other in the body at the area requiring treatment. The two currents interfere with each other at this crossing point, resulting in a modulation of the intensity (the current intensity increases and decreases at a regular frequency).

Medium-frequency currents meet with less skin resistance than low frequency currents; TENS uses low frequency currents.

Amplitude Modulated Frequency (AMF) --(AMF) In interferential current, the resulting current formed due to the intersection of the two carriers has its amplitude modulated at the frequency which is the difference between the 2 carrier frequencies.

Physiotherapy:
Shockwave therapy is a multidisciplinary device used in orthopaedics, physiotherapy, sports medicine, urology and veterinary medicine. Its main assets are fast pain relief and mobility restoration. Together with being a non-surgical therapy with no need for painkillers makes it an ideal therapy to speed up recovery and cure various indications causing acute or chronic pain.

ED Treatment:
Most men suffering from erectile dysfunction have vascular problems affecting the vessels that supply blood to the cavernous bodies of the penis, resulting in a decreased ability to develop and maintain an erection. Shockwave Therapy for ED of this type can be a highly effective treatment.

The shockwaves are focused onto the area to be treated creating new blood vessels in penile tissue, enabling patients to achieve and maintain firm spontaneous erections.Physiotherapy:

Gomecy Shock Wave Therapeutic Focused Shock Wave Erectile Dysfunction Physiotherapy Machine ShockwaveUltrasound therapy causes mechanical vibrations, from high frequency sound waves, on skin and soft tissue via an aqueous solution (Gel). A gel is applied either to the applicator head or to the skin, which helps the sound waves to evenly penetrate the skin. The ultrasound applicator converts power from the device into acoustic power that can cause thermal or non-thermal effects. The sound waves creates microscopic stimulation in the deep tissue molecules that increases heat and friction. The warming effect encourages and promotes healing in the soft tissues by increasing the metabolism at the level of the tissue cells.

Soft tissue injuries.
Chronic strains and sprains.
Myositis - the inflammation of muscle tissues
Bursitis - inflammation of the fluid-field pads surrounding joints.
Tendonitis - inflammation of the tissue connecting the muscles to the bones.

Electrotherapy involves the use of surface electrodes to apply an electrical current for the controlled stimulation of neuromuscular tissue. It has been proven effective to improve overall muscle condition, as well as muscle action and performance. Electrotherapy causes neuronal excitation and changes cell membrane permeability. Its overall effect is the generation of localised muscle-pumping action, improving joint mobility, muscle strength and circulatory and lymphatic drainage.

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation(TENS)
Intended for temporary pain relief in sore and aching muscles or for symptomatic relief of chronic pain. Most pervasive type of electrical stimulation. Limited in functionality, but cheap as a result.

Interferential current (lFC) electrical stimulation
Intended for symptomatic relief of acute, chronic, and post-traumatic or post-surgical pain. Similar to TENS, but more effective, powerful and deeper penetration.

Indications
Back and neck pain
Arthritis
Strains and sprains
Neuralgia
Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)
Degenerative joint disease
Reduces or eliminates your pain safely
Noticeable decrease in swelling and inflammation
Restores lost movement and improves restricted movements and coordination
Stimulates the natural hormones which can help your body heal faster

Because of its ease in reaching deep into pain sites and the increased tolerance for patients, IFC is a popular waveform for rehabilitation. IFC Additionally, the IFC waveform offers deep tissue penetration over a larger volume of tissue, making it a great choice when treating conditions like: back pain, arthritis, shingles, etc.

Carrier frequency is the frequency (the number of waves per second) of a carrier wave (a wave that carries a signal to convey information). Carrier frequency is measured in Hertz (Hz). For example, a carrier frequency of 10 Hz means that there are 10 carrier waves per second.

Physical sensations of different modulation frequencies:

Low-frequency modulation frequency (1-5 Hz): Low-frequency modulation frequency usually produces a slow and continuous sensation, similar to a slight tremor or shake of the muscle. This frequency can cause a feeling of muscle relaxation and relaxation, helping to reduce muscle tension and pain.

Medium-frequency modulation frequency (5-50 Hz): Medium-frequency modulation frequency can produce a more obvious vibration or tremor, but it is still relatively slow. This frequency can cause muscle vibration and contraction, which helps promote blood circulation and muscle activity.

High-frequency modulation frequency (above 50 Hz): High-frequency modulation frequency usually produces a faster and more obvious vibration feeling, similar to a slight tingling or stimulation. This frequency can quickly stimulate the nervous system and reduce pain perception, and may also cause rapid contraction and relaxation of muscles.
