Product Description

 Diode lasers are a type of semiconductor laser that emit coherent light when current passes through a junction between two different semiconductor materials. These lasers have gained popularity in various applications, including medical and aesthetic treatments like hair removal, due to their compact size, efficiency, and versatility.

The three wavelengths you mentioned, 755 nm, 808 nm, and 1064 nm, are commonly used in diode lasers for different purposes. Each wavelength interacts differently with the target tissue, allowing for specific applications.

755 nm:

The 755 nm wavelength is in the Alexandrite laser range and is well-absorbed by melanin, the pigment responsible for skin and hair color. This makes it highly effective for hair removal on lighter skin types and finer hair.
The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles, heating and damaging them while sparing the surrounding skin. As a result, the hair follicles are disabled and unable to produce hair.
808 nm:

The 808 nm wavelength is commonly used for hair removal and is well-absorbed by melanin in the hair follicles. It provides good results on a wide range of skin types, including light to medium skin tones.
Similarly to the 755 nm wavelength, the 808 nm laser targets the melanin in the hair follicles, leading to their destruction and subsequent hair reduction.
1064 nm:

The 1064 nm wavelength is in the Nd:YAG laser range and has a higher penetration depth in the skin compared to the previous two wavelengths. It is less absorbed by melanin and is better suited for darker skin types and coarser hair.
While it is not as efficient in targeting melanin as the shorter wavelengths, the 1064 nm laser can still reach the hair follicles and deliver enough energy to cause damage, resulting in hair reduction.

Diode laser hair removal technology is based on  the selective dynamics of light and heat. The laser goes through the skin surface to reach the root of hair follicles.
